About Zain
I graduated from the University of Bristol with an MEng in Aerospace Engineering and am currently doing another masters degree in Computational FInance at UCL. I have tutored in the past and have decided to tutor for some extra cash, but also really enjoy tutoring and take pride in my methods. Alongside tutoring, I can also provide support and advice for University applications. Moreover, due to my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, I would be able to offer insights as to where in the real world the mathematics they are learning is actually applied, which I have found to be a very motivating feature of my style of tutoring. FInally, I am fluent in Punjabi and Hindi/Urdu should the student prefer to be taught in these languages.

I approach each topic by breaking down the core understanding of the topic to first principles, so that the student understands where the theory behind the topic comes from and, therefore, when to apply it, rather than teaching the methodology to answer questions with no explanation. I then proceed by go ing through exam questions to ensure they can actually apply the theory. Once they can independantly answer questions on their own and explain the theory to me, I consider the topic completed and I advance to the next topic until all topics are covered and the student is just doing past papers when revision of certain topics may be required.
