About Juliet
I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Southampton studying Aeronautics and Astronautics (MEng), with a passion for maths and physics. I achieved A*s at Maths and Physics at GCSE, an A in Maths at A-level, and a B in Physics at A-level.
I have worked previously with younger students in prefect and head student positions in school, as well as aiding and providing advice for secondary school pupils for their Duke of Edinburgh's award. Through this, I improved skills from experienced teachers in how to communicate and work with younger students, which I am now able to use in my own tutoring.
As I completed my A-levels in 2019, and have a younger sibling who has completed their GCSEs this year, I am up to date with both A-level and GCSE specifications for both Maths and Physics.

I believe that a single teaching method does not apply to every student. Therefore, it is paramount that the first stage of the teaching process begins by evaluating what my students know, the topics that they are most uncertain on, and how they feel that they learn best.
I will use the subject syllabus as a basic structure, so that areas of focus can be easily identified and structured into the lessons. I will research and provide resources ahead of the sessions, giving my student a range of material to read and try. I will also find additional questions to be completed independently, if required.
