About Yvette
I am an advocate and also a mediator. I specialize in International Law, Human Rights and Family law.
I also attend criminal court from time to time and keep up to date with criminal and civil justice around the world, for instance the effect that Brexit will have on the economy globally, the Hong Kong strikes as well as the new labor legislation in America and the effect of the companies' decision (Uber) globally as most of their employers are contract workers.

When I teach, I like to encourage my students to think out of the box,to discuss what they've learned or heard. The Law consists of grey areas and is open to interpretation. It is important that the student or graduate learn how to prepare and present a case, not only for court, but also when you present a matter before a panel or parliament in order to change an existing rule of law or for consideration.
