About Ella
Across sixteen years of tutoring I have worked with 820 students, most preparing for demanding examinations or competitive university admissions in Spanish and related fields. My own academic background includes an advanced degree, and I spent part of my career in an academic teaching post before moving fully into private tutoring. After sixteen years teaching Spanish, my method is highly systematic, built around detailed diagnostic testing at the very start of every tutoring relationship to pinpoint exact gaps rather than guessing at weaknesses.
