About Helen
My name is Helen Stoddart, I’m currently in S6 studying Maths, Geography and Biology advanced highers. I will be studying Civil Engineering at Uni next year.
While I am not a teacher, I have always helped my friends study for our classes and have become very good at helping other students understand topics, especially in Maths.
This year I have also been volunteering in some Maths classes.

I offer personalised lessons based on each students’ needs to help them understand topics by explaining them thoroughly. It is much easier to memorise facts for exams if the student actually understands what they are doing.
I also share my own revision techniques for prelims and exams, working with each individual to find the method that’s best for them.
Lessons typically last one hour.
I am an S6 student studying Maths, Geography and Biology advanced highers. At school I am a teaching assistant in an S3 maths class.
My tutoring is aimed at National 5 and higher students but I am able to help younger students as well.
