About Poppy
With more than 20+ years of teaching experience and over 5060 students successfully trained, I have helped learners transform their interest in guitar into meaningful musical achievement. My teaching experience includes complete beginners, experienced players, aspiring performers, and students preparing for examinations and public performances.
Many former students have developed strong technical skills, performed on stage, composed original music, earned music qualifications, and pursued advanced musical studies. Their accomplishments reflect the effectiveness of structured learning combined with consistent encouragement and expert guidance.
I believe guitar is an instrument that offers limitless opportunities for creativity and personal expression. My mission is to help learners build confidence, develop technical excellence, and enjoy a rewarding musical journey.

Guitar lessons are structured to provide learners with both technical proficiency and musical understanding. Training includes acoustic guitar, electric guitar, rhythm playing, lead guitar, scales, chord construction, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, songwriting, music theory, ear training, and stage performance skills. Lessons are customized to suit individual goals while maintaining a clear progression pathway.
Students participate in practical performance exercises, technique refinement sessions, rhythm development activities, improvisation workshops, song-learning projects, and guided practice strategies. Advanced learners explore solo performance techniques, advanced improvisation concepts, complex fingerstyle arrangements, composition methods, recording skills, ensemble playing, performance preparation, and professional musicianship development.
