About Dylan
I am Dylan Ong, an 18 years old first year undergraduate student studying Actuarial Science at Queen's University Belfast in the year 2022/23. I have been tutoring private students as well as students in a group class, through online lessons and face to face lessons, since June 2020. I have experience in teaching both IGCSE and A-level subjects.
I am confident in my teaching skills as I teach students very closely to the way my parents tutor their students, and I add relevant tips as to how to study from my experience as a student. I am friendly and I believe that two-way communication is very essential when it comes to tutoring, so I hope students actively interact with me during class and out of class.
As both my parents are tutors, seeing the way they tutored students has inspired me to follow their footsteps in tutoring students, and it has been my passion ever since I was 15 years old.

Each lesson is between 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes long, depending on the student.
I usually use Skype and Onenote to carry out my online lessons.
Notes for the subjects will be shared to the students (free of charge). Will teach the syllabus of each chapter using the notes and any other resources given, followed by going through past year exam papers.
For maths related subjects, I will go through the important formulas, tips as to when to use which formula and how to answer the questions efficiently, and go through many past year questions (tough questions especially for every topic). Students should attempt the questions before I explain the
answer and working.
Any particular question about a certain topic or practice question can be asked during the first 15 minutes of the lesson.
I am open to questions outside of lesson times as well, and I will do my best to answer any questions you have.
