About Molly-Rose
I’m an Actor/ Writer from London.
I was a very motivated teenager(which I'm sure a lot of students relate to!) and went to The BRIT School from the age of 14 studying Theatre. I secured my place through auditions and came to know the school intimately. I mentored aspiring BRIT kids through their auditioning processes and happily saw a lot of people getting places with my guidance.
I moved on from BRIT and went on to study Scriptwriting and Performance at The University East Anglia. In my time there I wrote several plays that were put on, directed and acted frequently. I headed a Stand-Up Comedy night for 3 years and was the artistic director of the week-long Feminist Festival. I lead a Scriptwriting group that met weekly, creating content and acting for each other to expand our learning. At the end of the course, my dissertation was longlisted for the Snoo Wilson award and I graduated with a First-Class degree.
Upon leaving university, I decided to finally audition for Drama School to complete a Masters. I was successful in my first year and chose to go to the illustrious Drama Centre London. It was rigorous and intense training, with 12 hour days 6 days a week. During my time there I joined a Comedy-Improv group consisting of students from the course and am still performing with them in various productions. I graduated in December with a Distinction.

I am a hands-on, student-led tutor. I couldn't describe my methodology in a blanket statement because I'm all about adjusting depending on who I'm working with. For some people, that's getting up and being practical, for others, it's sitting and working through close text analysis and discussion.
I use my first session to identify the kind of student I'm working with and then craft lesson plans as we go. That may be in the format of a beginners guide to Scriptwriting, Acting, Improvisation or Auditioning.
