I had such a fantastic session with Maame. We focused on Shakespeare which was a area I had not a lot of experience about but she right away made me feel at ease. She has such a kind and caring nature when she teaches and genuinely wants you to succeed and do you best. She came prepared with detailed sheets and translations to help me understand and just had such a passion for Shakespeare and acting. If you are looking for an acting teacher whether it's for an audition, drama school or just genuinely want to improve as an actor I couldn't recommend Maame enough.

Maame teaches weekly drama classes at my performing arts school for our students aged between 6 - 16 years. She is extremely knowledgable in her craft and I have noticed a significant improvement in our students knowledge and confidence since she has started. She identifies the gaps in learning and is proactive in planning and delivering her sessions. Maame differentiates well to cater for our students needs, and she has developed good relationships with our staff and students alike. I was once Maame's tutor at a place called First Act, a spin off of the ITV Workshop. Maame soon went from just acting to helping with all of the productions, mentoring younger students and eventually directing. Capable of seeing far beyond what meets the eyes, with her acting coach abilities, I was able to face deep core insecurities, that stopped me from excelling as a professional actor. Maame is a life saver, honestly her insight to the craft coupled with her life knowledge and experience as a teacher helped me transcend boundaries in such a short amount of time, compared to the years of me going to classes and other sessions around the city. Maame helped me work on my monologues and self tapes for drama school which has put me in a space knowing that I am truly enough. I feel anxious and excited because I just want to act and play rather than being nervous because I want to prove or provide the panel what they want. This mind shift is credit to the time I spent with Maame and I am truly grateful.
