About Valerie
My name is Valerie, and I am doing my MA at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
I was an English and Drama teacher at the Guatemalan Waldorf School, where I was in charge of elevating the level of English for secondary students. I love teaching English and my acting background is key for improving oral expression.

I have mostly been teaching teenagers from the ages of 13 to 16. I follow a plan based on objectives that we would like to improve with the students specifically. I work a lot with active reading, to develop comprehension. I also like to make fun activities to engage the students in speaking either English or Spanish.
