About Sion
Hi, I'm an actor living in London with over 26 years performing experience. I became an actor quite late in life, I did not attend drama school till the age of 23. I feel my life before drama was quite eclectic. I struggled academically and had little idea of what I wanted in life, then I discovered performing and my life changed forever. I feel that I truly learned the lessons of life before embarking on a career in the arts and appreciate the grounding that gave me. As an actor I feel so fortunate to have had the experiences that I have had from the 10+ years I have had in the West End of London, performing in many different shows that include Phantom of the Opera to The Full Monty to Avenue Q to Arthur Miller's The Price plus many others. I have been very fortunate as a performer seeing the world with many other jobs, jobs that have taken me to Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Greece, Germany and even Bournemouth! I have had amazing experiences meeting and working with many outstanding professionals from Andrew Lloyd Webber to Arthur Miller to David Suchet, Tom Hiddleston even Take That.

My teaching technique would generally be on a 1 to 1 basis, breaking the material down, understanding and then rebuilding so as to be able to approach characters and material from many different angles, helping the pupil to truly open up and commit, whether it be dialogue or song. Lesson length would generally be 30 to 60 minutes, all dependent on what the pupil felt they needed. My experience generally has been with weekend workshops, drama schools and summer schools, working with children from 6 to 18 years old. Sometimes helping those older students who are thinking of pursuing a career. My lessons would be for anyone who loves drama and expression through song. Ages from 6 to 86. Whether they are studying GCSEs or looking to pursue a career and need help with drama school entry or just feel that it's something that they would like to explore purely for themselves.
