About Hashim
I am a driven individual who is passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. I mentor Year 8 students in my school who struggle with maths and literacy and volunteer weekly at my local hospital. I am truly interested in the subjects I take and enjoy teaching them even more. I hope to study medicine in the future and understand the importance of a work-life balance; studying does not have to be your whole life!

My teaching style revolves around introducing complex topics in a simple manner so as not to frighten students from learning new concepts. I enjoy talking through processes and allowing students to actively ask questions to ensure complete understanding. I hold seven grade 9s in my GCSEs, notably in the sciences, maths and further maths. A typical lesson would be around 45 minutes to an hour and these would be aimed mostly towards students in Years 10/11 preparing for their GCSE exams who struggle with maths or chemistry.
