About Hannah
I'm a graduate of the History and Philosophy of art, meaning I have an excellent knowledge of essay writing, as well as historical contextual knowledge.
This involves choosing appropriate contextual research, creating and sustaining original and convincing arguments, as well as in depth and creative analysis. I aim to tailor the learning process for greatest achievement and enrichment of life for students.
Past experience tutoring students with English as a second language means that I'm able to explain in clear language, and teach about how best to use English grammar, and to convey point effectively.
My final year dissertation was on the usefulness of Art History to students at A-level, and I am passionate about richly educating for independent thought and creativity. I hope to meet you soon, and get started on a personal learning path to better grades, useful life-skills, and an independent confidence in your subject that will last a lifetime.

Taking a personal approach, I seek out key weak areas that a student needs to work on and develop a specific learning path for them. This means I want to know you, the student, well in order to help you achieve the best possible grade and satisfaction with your studies.
My philosophy is every student can attain top grades, which makes my approach to education positive and exciting, with every possibility of progress, and starting from where you (the student) are, I will work as hard as you do to help you achieve your goals.
I majorly work in an assessment focused way, starting with your past essays and teach you from where you are at, starting with how to read a question correctly, in order to answer it successfully.
This will be tailored to whatever exam board or mark scheme you have been given, meaning that you will be able write in a way that effectively accesses those pesky top marks.
