About Joshua
Hi, I’m Joshua, a professional actor currently performing in London’s West End. With over 8 years of experience on stage and screen, 5 years of intensive training, and 3 years of audition coaching, I’m passionate about helping aspiring performers succeed in their drama school auditions.
I began my journey at the Birmingham Ormiston Academy, where I trained for two years before being accepted into multiple top-tier drama schools, including ArtsEd, GSA, and Mountview. I ultimately chose to train at the Guildford School of Acting, where I completed three years of rigorous musical theatre training on an Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship.
I specialize in guiding students through every stage of the audition process—from choosing the perfect material to refining technique, diction, and confidence—while demystifying what panels are looking for. My teaching approach is interactive, tailored to your unique strengths, and rooted in my professional experience, giving you the skills to excel.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with hundreds of students, helping them gain entry into prestigious institutions and develop as artists. My professional credits include leading roles in West End productions of Next to Normal, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma, Wind in the Willows, and A Christmas Carol. Most recently, I appeared in the BBC1 crime thriller The Jetty and am currently voicing the lead narrator for an Audible audiobook.
With firsthand experience navigating the audition process and transitioning into the professional world, I’ll help you unlock your full potential and take the next step toward achieving your dreams. Let’s work together to make your audition a success!

Me = in my 20s + no prior singing training;
Joshua has delivered a very positive experience so far:
1) He's generously shared techniques from his professional trainings
2) He explains vocal concept in languages I understand
3) He cares about building up my confidence in singing
4) He really loves singing/coaching, it's nice to be on the other side knowing he's not just here to make moneyOur children take lessons from Josh. He is really good and connects well with them and makes the classes interactive. They enjoy classes from Josh.
Josh is a fantastic performer and an excellent teacher.
Josh taught for me at my youth theatre for a year on and off. His energy and professionalism rubbed off on the kids and he was able to pass on his vast experience in a really engaging way for the kids. They all talk about how great he is/was still now.
