About Rheana Mae
Hello! I’m an enthusiastic accounting student with a deep love for teaching and helping learners build confidence in their studies. While my focus is on numbers in my own coursework, I believe that strong foundational skills in both math and English are key to success in any field – and I’m here to make learning these subjects engaging and stress-free.
I have 2 years of hands-on tutoring experience working with students from Kindergarten through 6th grade, and I’ve developed a knack for breaking down tricky concepts into simple, relatable ideas. For math, I specialize in everything from basic counting and addition to early algebra and problem-solving – I love showing kids that math isn’t just about rules, but about figuring out how numbers work in the world around us. Whether we’re using everyday examples like budgeting allowance or working through practice problems with games and visuals, I make sure each lesson feels like an adventure.
When it comes to English, I help students build strong skills in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and even public speaking. I know how intimidating words and sentences can feel at first, so I focus on making lessons personal – we might read stories they love, write about their hobbies, or practice conversations that matter to them.
My goal is always to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes – because that’s how we learn best. I’m patient, adaptable, and dedicated to helping every learner reach their goals, one lesson at a time.
