About Thokozile
I am a pensioner but I still love accounting. The principle of a Taccount in accounting is still used. I worked for almost 40years in Finance department. At my work place in a university where I worked for 28 full years I would tell my colleagues that in order to be alert in Finance one must immediately know any figure that one has seen previously as that would help in any fraud or duplicate payments that one might make. So to be in finance is to be on your toes all the time even at midnight when woken up you must be able to tell any person about payment made or received by you Basicallg in Finance we receive monies and pay out monies to creditors

Some people have a problem with calculations. Whilst young we were taught to know our tables and that resulted in me being particular with figures and know and love figures One must be passionate about accounting and know the principles of accounting , that is, debit and credit else you wont know what to debit or credit and do the reverse thereof The principles of accounting are paramount in knowing and understanding accounting.
