As a tutor, I believe in making math engaging and interactive. I tailor lessons to fit each student’s learning style, using discussions and hands-on activities to keep them actively involved. I bring in technology and real-life examples to show how math applies to the world around us. For example, I might use real data sets to explain statistical concepts and teach problem-solving skills. This approach helps students see the relevance of what they’re learning and encourages them to stay curious and engaged.
In my math lessons, I start by introducing the goals and revisiting what we've learned before. I explain new ideas using examples and encourage students to join in discussions and ask questions. We then dive into practical exercises and problem-solving, tackling real-world math challenges together. To wrap up, we review the lesson, address any lingering questions, and I offer feedback along with extra resources as needed.
