About Wandisa
I am a highly competent bookkeeper, and I would bring a detail-focused and problem-solving mindset to a Tutor position. As an analytical and dynamic individual who has a proven history of exceeding expectations through performance; I believe I would be able to participate and impact considerably to the success of my tutees.
I have worked on several clients both private and public. In all positions, I demonstrated attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and computational skills, superior service delivery, and strengths in financial reporting. My bookkeeping and accounting skills include Preparation of Annual Financial Statements (based on IFRS for SMMEs), Internal and External audits and Limited Assurance, Financial Statements Review (IFRS for SMMEs), Capturing of cash books and processing to Trial Balance, Vat processing and return submissions, PAYE returns and EMP501 returns, Completion of Income Tax returns, and Other Bookkeeping related duties.
My credentials include a Matric certificate and a short course in Accounting completed at Rhodes University. I have experience using MS office, E-filing, Easyfile, and financial reporting software (Sage pastel and Caseware).

My teaching method is an activity-based style which encourage self-learning in the classroom through increased tutee to tutor learning. I encourage tutees to question rather than simply have the answer given to them. I use activities to promote self-discovery and develop problem-solving skills, which can often lead to the tutee developing a much deeper understanding of the topic. My method involves actively interacting with individual tutees. I incorporate my personality, preferences, and interests into my teaching. I tailor my tutoring for different pupils, incorporating extra-curricular knowledge to develop a deeper knowledge of a particular topic.
