About Alexander
I am an accounting/finance double major graduating soon with a high GPA. I passed FAR with a 92%, and I am currently studying for REG. In other words, these concepts are pretty fresh in my brain because I was just studying them for myself. I will be going into big 4 audit. Have you ever felt totally lost in one of your accounting/finance classes? I certainly have!
But let me let you in on a little secret, accounting is not hard. Your professor just sucks at explaining things. Once I learn a concept, I always think about how I would have explained it differently to myself so I could understand what was going on immediately.
My strategy is to relate it to real life and explain things theoretically so that they make sense, not just get into a bunch of mumbo jumbo. We'll practice examples, and the goal is to make our classes feel like a hang-out, but we'll be moving quick.
