About Simone
I am a Chartered Accountant who currently works full-time as an Accounts Examiner for the State of Connecticut. I have loved math since I was very young. It has always been my favorite subject. I love working out the solutions to math problems. I believe we are always learning and a good way to hone our skills is to constantly guide others. I am a professional who is dedicated and committed to my goals not just for my own success but most importantly for the success of my students.

As a tutor, my goal is to inspire confidence and curiosity in mathematics while helping students develop a solid understanding of foundational concepts. I begin by understanding the student's current level of knowledge and identifying areas where they struggle. I adapt my methods based on the student's preferred learning style, whether they benefit more from visual aids, step-by-step explanations, or hands-on problem-solving. I simplify challenging concepts into manageable steps and use real-world examples to make them more relatable. I teach students to approach problems methodically and develop skills they can apply to new and unfamiliar challenges. Ultimately, I aim to not only help students improve their math skills but also to foster a lifelong appreciation for the subject and its practical applications.
