I’m a mother of 3 who made costumes for years! I began sewing in my teens and it took off from there! I started quilting over 10 years ago and tutor anyone who wants to learn to sew or quilt!

My teaching method is largely discussion based but I also like to give students tasks to do. Keeping a student engaged, keeps the student learning and asking questions! The best way to learn to sew and quilt, is to do it!

Therese is my niece and she has always been dedicated to all her undertakings. I can recommend her highly and she does beautiful work. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She made a picture quilt of my cat and it is beautiful. I would even take lessons from her but I don't live in Florida .
I have known Therese for many years. She is experienced with sewing from simple outfits to detailed costumes and quilting, and is wonderful for homework help. We have called upon her for homework help specifically in math for my own kids and she has helped to guide us in writing essays. She explains everything fully and is patient.
