About Joy
I am a patient and clear instructor who values simple communication above all else. Having lived in the US for 13 years after moving from Barcelona, I bridge the gap between two cultures through my 6 years of experience.
My MA TESOL from the University of Southern California supports my work as an academic-writing coach. I assist with grammar, vocabulary building, and literature analysis. I also provide interview preparation and public speaking support. I have worked with 449 students to improve their written voice.
