• 1. When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I developed an interest in English proficiency lecturing since my first internship in Why Class Inc as an IELTS instructor. English has always been my favorite subject ever since Junior high school as I was obsessed with listening to American songs, which serves as a huge catalyst for me to learn more vocabulary in difference contexts. English itself is a language that is bestowed with so many different personalities and it is up to me to fill up the void between the traditional language learning and passion-driven learning experience.

• 2. What makes you passionate about your subject?

  I just love teaching because of the satisfaction I get when my students attain their goals and achieve certain results they desire. To gain that satisfaction, I would go the extra mile to care about my students, offering them my presence when needed as well as emotional support when they are stressed. Overall, teaching English gives me a strong sense of satisfaction and achievement and I love the interaction with my students.

• 3. What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

• 4. Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  Yes. A teacher that inspired me is my English proficiency teacher back in my primary school named Ella. She is such a joyful person to be around as her passion for her class is literally contagious that she made a variety of different games to keep us engaged. As a competitive person myself, winning every game she made during the class is a must for me, which gave me tons of motivations to put in the extra work in my spare time and learn the language structures, grammars, and vocabulary ahead of my peers.

• 5. What are your keys to success?

  My key to success is always be consistent with my results and processes to get things done. If I were to be passionate about certain things for three days and then move onto the next opportunity, then I would never ever be an expert in my field.
