My name is T Sai Eswar, and my approach to teaching middle-school mathematics is simple: students learn best when concepts are broken down into clear, logical steps they can actually understand and apply. I focus on building strong fundamentals rather than forcing memorisation, because weak basics eventually become bigger learning gaps.
Teaching Techniques and Methods
I start each topic by identifying what the student already understands and where the gaps are.
Concepts are taught through real-world examples, visual explanations, and guided problem-solving.
I use “think-aloud” reasoning — showing students how to approach a problem the way a trained mathematician would.
Students learn multiple methods for solving the same type of question, then we choose the approach that fits their learning style.
I constantly check understanding through small, targeted questions instead of waiting until the end.
