About Harrie
Hello! I’m Harrie, by profession I’m a chartered accountant working in audit but I have a degree in Classics from Warwick having done Latin, Ancient Greek, English and Maths at A level.
I’ve always had a passion for teaching having come from a family of teachers and marrying one!

I find the best way to learn is talking about subjects and asking and answering questions. There is a time for practice and repetition but I ensure my sessions are full of talking and discussion. What works well for me is setting some work to be done outside the session so we can spend the full hour discussing and learning. I am more than happy to mark work outside the session also as this means best value during.
I appreciate that every learner is different however and I’m more than happy to adapt my approach to each individual to ensure I get the best from them.
