About Miya
I'm a dedicated tutor with a strong background in law and legal research, I specialise in helping students refine their dissertation topics, structure their arguments, and strengthen their writing. With experience in clinical negligence, civil and criminal law, and hands-on legal research, I’m here to guide you through the challenges of legal writing, ensuring your dissertation is clear, well-supported, and compelling. I can understand what it's like to be stressing at the last minute, so if that is the case, I am happy to be at your call to make sure it gets completed to a high standard!

I am happy to mark all online, assist with preparation and aid during dissertation writing where needed. Anything needed last minute, I am also willing to help where need be. A typical marking length can vary based on the word count of the dissertation but I am happy to work around the student. If lessons are needed then around an hour to two hours can be most appropriate. I have previously tutored students with learning difficulties and helped them with GCSE and then A-levels. I did this for four years and I then stopped to start my Barrister training. Lessons would be for university students.
