About Jack
I have been informally giving lessons to friends and family ever since I started my GCSEs several years ago - I studied English up to A level, in which I achieved an A. The peers that I helped during their studies all went on to achieve a minimum of an A - most of them even higher.
As I am now at University, I have taken this a step further and continue to help my peers with our bachelor-level courses in various different types of law - a subject which still allows me to keep my English skills up-to-date.

What makes English such a fantastic subject, in my view, is that there is no "correct" methodology - it can be changed at will to fit the student's needs.
Sometimes I have been assisting someone who prefers to have set questions to work through and helped to answer them in the "traditional" way. On the other hand, I have also had students that prefer to have a lesson that is more akin to a conversation about the subject, where they can ask about the meanings and methods behind the specific subject at hand.
I have no set methodology for teaching all students - it's totally dependent on each individual's needs and preferences!
