About Sofia
I try to combine the theoretical part of musical training with the practical training of the piano, giving students tools to become autonomous pianists, with musicality and technique. For me, it is essential to meet the student's goals, so I don't follow a specific method or music book. I want to follow, together with the student, a stimulating path that will lead him to fall in love, more and more, with piano and music. I believe that creating an environment where the student feels comfortable and free to question and explore the world of music is essential for good learning.

I studied piano at the School of Music at the Regional Conservatory of Setúbal for 8 years with distinction. Throughout my journey, I performed several times solo and participated in several choir concerts. I started giving private piano lessons 4 years ago to people of all ages. Right now, I am studying Medicine at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (4th year).
