About Owen
I achieved a 9 in GCSE Maths and a 7 in GCSE Physics. More importantly, I learnt how to study effectively and what examiners want to see in answers to pick up marks.
I want to tutor because I believe every student can improve with the right support. I focus on clear explanations, breaking down topics step by step and lots of targeted practice, and building exam confidence.

Teaching GCSE Maths and Physics.
For GCSE Maths, I start by finding gaps with quick diagnostic questions. Then I teach topics step-by-step with clear examples, followed by lots of practice and exam technique to lock it in.
For GCSE Physics, I start by giving them a diagnostic question, and ensure they understand the concept clearly and can explain their thinking.
Lesson length is usually 60 minutes.
I have 6-9's in GCSE, with a 9 in Maths and 8 in Further and 7 in Physics.
Lessons are primarily for GCSE students grade 1-9.
