About Julia
I am a 6th grade math teacher in the Xenia area with 5 years of classroom experience. I enjoy working with students and helping them build confidence in their abilities, especially in math.
I currently teach full-time and understand the challenges students can face when they feel behind or frustrated with schoolwork. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
Outside of teaching, I’m a parent to my 2-year-old daughter, so I understand the importance of consistency, encouragement, and clear communication when it comes to a child’s learning.
I value building positive relationships with both students and parents and making sure tutoring sessions are focused, productive, and encouraging.

As a middle school teacher with 5 years of classroom experience, I understand that every student learns differently and may need support in different ways. My goal is to meet each student where they are and help them build both skills and confidence!
In my tutoring sessions, I focus on breaking down concepts into simple, manageable steps so students don’t feel overwhelmed. I provide guided practice, helpful strategies, and encouragement to help students truly understand the material.
I specialize in helping students:
* Improve math understanding and problem-solving
* Catch up if they’re feeling behind
* Build confidence and stay motivated
I keep sessions structured but supportive, creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes!
My goal is for students to leave each session feeling more confident, capable, and prepared for success in the classroom.
