About Dani
I am currently a 5th grade teacher. I love to teacher all subjects, but my favorite is teaching math. After students missing half of school year I have been able to teach them what they missed and what they need to move on the 6th grade. My students have not received grades lower the C's and we focus on understanding the material and making it stick instead of just moving on to the next material.

My teaching approach is follow an I do, We do, You do method. This means that I first teach the lesson with minimal help from the students. We then solve problems together to ensure that these students are able to complete the problems with my help. Then, it is their turn to solve the problems on their own with little help from me. If I feel like any student needs extra help then I am there to support them by using tactics and steps for them to follow so that on the next problem they can attempt the problem on their own.
