About Laura
I am a fourth year university student studying math at the University of Waterloo. Throughout the last few years, I have tutored many students in elementary and high school math. Before doing tutoring I coached gymnastics for 4 years, and I have a really strong desire to help people learn.

When teaching math, my foremost teaching method is to break things down into the most simple steps. I try to determine where any confusion is coming from and work that out. I believe the most important aspect in learning math is repetition, so I am keen on doing many problems and examples. I know that when I am learning new concepts the most useful thing is being able to see examples!
