About Khan
I’m a fourth-year MPhys Physics student at the University of Exeter, currently averaging 75% across my degree. I achieved A grades in both Maths and Physics at A-level and have always enjoyed problem-solving and understanding how things work.
I know that Maths and Physics can become frustrating when a topic doesn’t quite click, so I want to help students break difficult ideas down into manageable steps and build genuine confidence in the subject. My aim is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Alongside university, I have worked as an Activity Leader at an international language school, where I was responsible for supervising and communicating with young people from a wide range of backgrounds. I also have a recent Enhanced DBS check completed in June 2026.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student, focusing on the topics they find most difficult and building their understanding from the fundamentals rather than simply giving them answers. I like to explain concepts clearly, work through examples together, and then give students the opportunity to solve problems independently with guidance where needed.
For students preparing for GCSE or A-level exams, I can also focus on exam technique, past-paper questions and identifying areas where marks are being lost.
Lessons are typically one hour and are suitable for GCSE Maths, Physics and Science students, as well as A-level Maths and Physics students. I am also happy to adapt lessons for students of different abilities, whether they are struggling with a subject or aiming for the highest grades.
