About Haldane
I am a 4th year Theoretical Physics student at the University of Edinburgh with a passion for my subject and I find teaching incredibly rewarding. I achieved A's in Advanced Higher Maths and Physics and have prior tutoring experience with two students.

Maths and Physics are not subjects that come naturally to everyone, but can always be taught. My lessons will focus on teaching the material with a goal to understand it, as well as tackling problems and past papers because this is the best way to improve and become more confident with exam technique. Each session would normally be an hour long but can be longer if required. As someone with ADHD and experience teaching students with dyscalculia, I understand how daunting studying maths and physics can be, so I will also be able to provide strategies to make it more manageable. I am looking to teach anyone pursuing a high school qualification in maths or physics, particularly Nat 5's, Highers and Advanced Highers but I can also teach A level and GCSE.
