About Anne-Marie
I am currently a 4th Year medical student in the UK. I previously studied Biology, chemistry and maths at A-Level. I had 4 interviews for medicine in year 13, and managed to gain 2 offers for study. I am a keen teacher, and look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals! I am also happy to have sessions in becoming a competitive medical school applicant.

The first session would involve meeting the pupil, getting to know a bit about them, and identify their educational goals. It will be an opportunity to explore the teaching styles that suit them best, and set a plan the upcoming weeks/months.
The typical structure of a lesson would be:
1. Review on work set in the previous lesson to consolidate learning and address any questions. approx. 10 mins
2. The main bulk of the lesson includes teaching on the subject highlighted by the student the previous week, using the exam board specific specification. approx 25 mins
3. I am a huge believer in applying knowledge, so there will be a few exam-style questions set to apply the concepts of the content covered. This will highlight any areas that may not have been grasped as well, so we can go through it again if need be. approx 20 mins
4. Finally, we will have a debrief where we can review the learning objectives and key learning points, answer any final questions and set work for the next session. approx 5 mins
