About John
Hello! My name is John, and I am currently a final-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Honors) student. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong passion for Mathematics, Physics, and problem-solving, which naturally led me to tutoring.
My experience as a tutor includes teaching secondary school students from Form 2 to Form 5 in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, and Science. Seeing my students improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance has been one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit each individual's pace and learning style.
As an engineering student, I regularly apply mathematical and scientific principles to real-world problems. This allows me to explain concepts in a practical and relatable way, helping students move beyond memorization and truly understand the topics they are learning.
In addition to my academic background, I have represented my university in various engineering and technology competitions, including achieving 1st place in a national Precision Drone Delivery Competition and participating in the International CanSat Competition in US. These experiences have strengthened my analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to simplify complex concepts for others.
My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their abilities.
