About Shivang

Academically, I've had all A*s at GCSE and A Levels, and the highest marks in the country for Biology and Chemistry for my A Levels.

For the UCAT, I scored amongst the top 2% globally and got offers from medical schools at UCL, King's College London and University of Bristol.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Shivang, a third year medic at UCL. As someone who has been exactly in your shoes not so long ago, I understand how overwhelming it can seem - but I look forward to helping you every step of the way in your preparation.

Normally, I teach Physics,Chemistry, Biology or Maths for either GCSEs or A Level, but I also tutor for the UCAT, BMAT and help with personal statements or medicine interviews.

My teaching mantra is tailored around the student, as each student is unique, and this way it makes the learning more fun. Usually we start the lesson covering the theory, and then move towards exam-styled questions. Different students understand things differently, and so I love to approach questions from different angles and different ways until it finally 'clicks'.

The one thing I always tell my students is to always ask questions! You can ask me anything multiple times and I would still be happy to go over it. This is how we discover gaps in your learning and it makes the entire teaching more efficient.
