About Emily
It’s my goal to train students to not just play the notes on the page, but for them to learn the importance of musicality and expression. This is where the joy and emotion can be found in music. Music is meant to move people and I hope to inspire this in even my youngest students.

I teach students to read and understand sheet music as well as play with expression and emotion. I can prepare students for AMEB exams and assist with Music Theory knowledge so students can gain a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of music. I’m most familiar with the AMEB syllabus having completed all AMEB piano grades and Theory exams myself. I have 2+ years experience teaching private piano lessons to primary school students. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Music at Sydney Conservatorium majoring in composition for anyone wanting to work on or begin studying composition skills too.
