About Aman
My name is Aman Vora and I am a mechanical engineering student at Imperial College London. I am an international student from Kenya, currently living in London. I am outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic. I hope to make an interactive learning environment that will enable you to excel and feel more confident in yourself. My approach to teaching is to focus on areas students are struggling with so that they may feel more confident in those topics. Firstly, we will begin by making an overview of all the areas the student would like to cover and then go through each one sequentially. Following this, we will review revision notes together to allow students to enhance their knowledge of a specific topic. After this, we will begin doing topical questions, where with each practice I will encourage the student to independently answer the questions. The topic will then be completed with past paper questions to give students an understanding of what to expect in the exam. We will then move on to the next topic.
I have previously tutored multiple students in high school for IGCSE mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, helping them to secure top grades. I am also an experienced drums teacher which I started in year 13 and have been teaching for 3 years now.
I propose lessons to be an hour in length for students of ages 13-18 (years 9 to 13).
