About Rachel
I am a kind, caring person with experience in tutoring and working with children. I have always had a passion for the English language and literature. During high school, my higher essays were used as an example of excellence by the SQA. I have recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with a first-class English Literature Honours degree, and I am excited to continue teaching and helping others and (hopefully) nurture a love for it.

I will base my teaching method on your specific needs. I will intuitively get to know what aspects of English we need to focus on and go from there. Every student and every person is different and so different approaches are required.
Whether you are struggling with essay writing, close reading or another aspect of English, there are many routes to making the subject more accessible and enjoyable. I am very passionate about writing, specifically essay writing, and I love encouraging similar enthusiasm through various exercises in lessons.
