About Tendani
Hi, I’m Tendani, a third-year Civil Engineering student from the University of Johannesburg with a passion for Mathematics and Science. Throughout my degree, I’ve completed university-level Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Statistics, giving me a solid understanding of these subjects.
What makes me different is that I wasn’t always good at Math and Science. I struggled in high school too, so I understand how frustrating these subjects can be. By developing effective study techniques and problem-solving methods, I was able to improve my results and succeed at university.
I enjoy helping students gain confidence, understand difficult concepts and achieve their academic goals. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for exams or improving your marks, I’m committed to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where you can succeed.

I know firsthand that Maths and Science can be challenging because I struggled with them in high school too. Through consistency and effective study techniques, I improved and am now a third-year Civil Engineering student with university-level knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Statistics.
My lessons focus on understanding concepts rather than memorising formulas. I break difficult topics into simple steps, tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, and share the study methods and problem-solving techniques that helped me succeed.
I teach in English and work with Grades 8–12 learners and first-year university students. Whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on difficult topics or aiming to improve your marks, my goal is to help you build confidence and become an independent learner.
