About Vusumzi
I'm a 3rd year student in the Chartered Accountant (SA) Stream. I have been doing Accounting for over 8 years now since the 8th grade. Since then, I have been enjoying giving personal tutoring to my fellow classmates. And I also love engaging in group discussions and taking the lead at most times. I was also appointed as a marker in the University of the Free State's (South Africa) School of Accountancy. This taught me a lot about exam technique as I could pick up the strengths and weaknesses from the scripts I was marking.

Before introducing a topic or content, I engage with students, ask them topic-related questions to test how much they know about the topic. Then teach the prepared topic piece by piece, giving them pieces of work to do in between so that they practice before a lot of information clusters their minds. Then we assess the activity and then discuss where we went right and where we went wrong then fix it. I refer to this as the reinforcement method of teaching.
