About Yong-Whye
I am an international student from Malaysia in my 2nd year studying medicine at UCL! I have a lot of experiences in teaching and volunteering with younger learners from all backgrounds and levels and have found great success in doing so. Some things I can help with are UK medicine interviews, GCSE/IGCSE science and mathematics, and IB/IGCSE economics.

I adapt my teaching style to suit the needs of the learner and focus on topics they need help on. Lesson plans are curated together with the learner in mind such that expectations and concerns are addressed and tackled. Lessons last for 45mins-1hr. Lessons for all ages and levels, but I mainly focus on GCSE/IGCSE tutoring. I have experience working as a peer mentor, working part-time jobs in tuition centres and am currently a UCL Access and Widening Participation Ambassador and tutor, having worked in mathematics tutoring in the Horizons programme.
