Rayan is one of my close childhood friends. He tutored me for around half a year and was amazing at delivering classes and explaining tough problems. He went through lessons at my pace and challenged me with work while simultaneously making me better in the subject. He was tutoring maths for me when I could not grasp the subject. Rayan tutored my younger sister in GCSE Maths and Science, and also helped a family friend prepare for the UCAT. I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough. Right from the start, he took the time to understand where each student was getting stuck and adapted his teaching to suit the way they learned best. He was always patient, easy to talk to and really encouraging, which made a huge difference to their confidence.

What I appreciated most about his teaching was that he made sure they actually understood the concepts before moving on, and then backed that up with exam-style questions and focused practice. For UCAT preparation, he also shared really helpful strategies and techniques that made a big difference to both confidence and speed.

One moment that really stood out was in the run-up to my sister’s mocks, when she was feeling quite overwhelmed about Chemistry. Rayan spent extra time going over the topics she found hardest and explained everything in a way that finally clicked for her. After that lesson, she felt so much more confident and went into the exam knowing exactly how to tackle the questions and she ended up doing really well.

Rayan genuinely cares about helping his students do well and that shows in every lesson. The progress my sister made was obvious, and our family friend also felt much better prepared for the UCAT.
