About Chisom
I am a second year medical student with a passion for helping others to learn and succeed in their exams. I have been tutoring since I was 16 years old and so I understand the challenges young students face and how to explain complex concepts in a clear and simple manner. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and learning approach. I have taught children of all ages and abilities and I am patient, approachable and encouraging.

My 1 to 1 lessons are student focused and are designed to build both understanding and confidence for the student. My teaching style is adapted to each student's learning pace and ability using clear explanations and examples rather than solely memorisation. Lessons can last from 60 - 120 minutes and include teaching of concepts and guided topic practice before moving on to exam style questions to solidify understanding.
As a medical student, I have strong academic knowledge of the sciences as well as what the examiner is looking for in exam answers and how to effectively study concepts. In my sessions, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and make progress every session to then go on to confidently ace their exams!
