About Elysa
I am a first-year medical student at the University of Buckingham with a very strong foundation in modules such as cell biology and anatomy. My academic background equips me with the knowledge of key in-depth concepts, allowing me to explain and break down these terms to my students. I am motivated to help my students achieve their best in biology and I am also able to help any students with their applications to Medicine and for interview prep. Communication with my students is my top priority and as a children's swim teacher, I have perfected this skill to be able to adapt my communication skills to each individual person. I am passionate about creating a comfortable, friendly environment for each student, to ensure an effective lesson.

Our lessons will be centred around the student's ability and learning style. I will plan the lesson ahead of time and explain and go through concepts the student needs more help with. My teaching styles include diagrams, mind maps and auditory learning, depending on the student videos may also be provided. Typically the lessons would be an hour and homework or pre-reading will be included.
