About Liam
My name is Liam and I am currently a student studying Marine engineering and Naval architecture at Newcastle University. I have a passion for problem solving and all types of mathematics. I achieved all A in my A levels in maths, computing science and physics which I teach. I try to take a different approach in my tutoring. It was my experience in my previous education that some teachers have lesson plans that are too rigid and only want to teach you in a set way. I care about you getting the right answer and finding the correct techniques and methods that best work for you.

My approach to tutoring is based on being different to normal school lessons. It is my philosophy that if a student doesn't understand a concept after it's been explained then they need it explained a different way with a different approach. Not simply just repeating what hasn't worked. Lessons are an hour and the structure isn't set, tailored to the needs of the student. If that's solving difficult questions, going through past tests or learning whole topics. Being dyslexic myself I can understand the difficulties neurodivergent students struggle with and have experience tutoring them.
