About Mani
My name is Mani, I am a Computer Science student at the University of St Andrews entering my 3rd year in September. I enjoy coding and problem solving, and love my degree. Teaching and helping people with these topics always brings me joy, as it's always fun to see people slowly understand and enjoy the same things you find so cool! I attained a 9 in my GCSE Maths, and an A in A-Level Maths, and also have taken BSc level Maths courses at St Andrews. My main degree is Computer Science and I achieved an A* in A-Level in CS, so I am more than comfortable tutoring A Level Computer Science, and consulting students about their coursework if needed. As Maths is not my main degree, only up to GCSE Maths would be appropriate for me to tutor I believe.

I have had experience tutoring previous GCSE students in Maths, as well as with programming for Computer Science. Typically I find the best method for tutoring is to go over a past paper with the student, working out their strong and weak points. Once that's worked out, 1 on 1 conversations about the topic at their pace until I'm confident they understand the topic at question.
