About Jaya
Once I really began to understand my A-level subjects I really began to enjoy them and became quite passionate about them. I am keen to pass this understanding and passion onto other students for both economics and geography as I believe that motivation is what allowed me to achieve good grades. Teachers do really influence the success of a student depending on teaching styles so sometimes students need to experience different teaching styles in order to understand their subject.

Having performed well in my A-levels I understand the importance of both knowing the course content whilst also understanding exam technique in order to achieve the highest marks. This means that in my tutor sessions not just the content will be covered as that will not achieve an A* grade, so I will ensure that I will teach exam technique alongside specification content. Lessons can vary in length depending on your availability, however the best session lengths will be around 30-40 minutes. I teach A-level Economics students, but I also offer tutoring for A-level Geography students too (including advice for coursework - achieving 58/60 marks). I have worked with kids for 5 years having been a tennis coach and swim teacher.
