About Gaia
I grew up in Milan in a very academically focused environment but I’ve always loved teaching just as much as studying. When I was younger and before tutoring professionally, I volunteered as a teacher, including teaching Italian IGCSE to Ukrainian children affected by the war. Later on I started tutoring more regularly under contract.
I’ve always enjoyed working with younger students as well, as I’m very patient and like explaining things in a simple way. Outside academics, I’m also a ski instructor, and I love spending time teaching and working with kids in a fun environment.

I offer personalised lessons tailored to each student’s goals and academic level. My teaching focuses on building strong understanding through exam techniques, shortcuts, and extensive practice with exercises and past papers, while continuously checking the student’s progress.
I scored 1530 on the SAT, achieved a 7 in all IB subjects I teach, and earned an IGCSE A*. Having completed these curricula myself, I am familiar with exam requirements and common challenges.
I have several years of tutoring experience in Milan, helping students improve grades, retake IB exams, and achieve top scores.
